About Me. I am a retired entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience owning and operating a Meineke Car Care franchise. Through a commitment to exceptional customer service, sound financial management, and developing outstanding employees, I built my business into one of the top-performing Meineke franchises in the country before successfully selling it and retiring.
As the owner, I was involved in every aspect of the business—from hiring and developing employees to marketing, financial management, customer service, negotiating leases, and solving the day-to-day challenges that every small business owner faces. My background in engineering taught me to approach problems analytically, while decades of working with employees and customers reinforced that trust, integrity, and consistency are the foundation of every successful business.
I was also a founding member of a Mastermind group of small business owners that has met monthly for many years. The group provides a confidential environment where business leaders share challenges, exchange ideas, and help one another become better business owners. That experience strengthened my belief that some of the best business decisions come from thoughtful discussion, honest feedback, and learning from the experiences of others.
Today, I volunteer as a mentor because I genuinely enjoy helping entrepreneurs succeed. I know firsthand that owning a business can be both rewarding and challenging. My approach is to listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and help business owners develop practical solutions they can confidently put into action. Whether someone is launching a new venture or growing an established business, I enjoy helping them build a stronger, more profitable, and more rewarding business.
